How to Get to Chitwan National Park-Chitwan Tours
By Land :
Chitwan is easily accessible from major cities of Nepal like Kathmandu, Pokhara and Lumbini. There are several Tourist Bus services to and from Chitwan. Buses are also available directly from all entry points from India.
By Raft :
You will get to National Park by rafting on the Trishuli River.
By Air :
It is 25 Minutes flight from Kathmandu to Bharatpur Airport from where you will be transferred to lodge in a Jeep. Lodge is approx 25 min drive from the airport.
Best Time to visit Chitwan National Park:
Chitwan- October to May, Bird Watching – December to March. Maximum temperature can reach up to 95 Fahrenheit (35 C) in April through September. November through February are cooler months with average temperature around 67 Fahrenheit.
